Who we are

Kitchen Table Health is a small independent review desk covering one narrow subject: the companies selling GLP-1 weight-loss medication online, and what they really charge for it.

Why this site exists

Because the pricing in this market is close to unreadable. A programme advertises $99 a month and bills $198. Another says “from $179” and means a sublingual product, not the weekly injection you were picturing. A third quotes $25 a month, which turns out to be what someone with good insurance pays after approval.

None of that is illegal and most of it is not even dishonest. It is just structured in a way that makes comparison hard. We do the arithmetic and print the result.

How we work

• We track 12 providers and verify their pricing directly from published sources. Everything was last checked 2026-09-18, and each review carries its own verification date.
• Scores come from a fixed, published rubric — see how we rate. They are computed, not assigned by feel.
• We record the gap between what a company advertises and what it bills, because that gap is the single most useful fact about most of these programmes.

What we are not

We are not a pharmacy, a telehealth provider or a medical practice. We do not prescribe, we do not dispense, and nothing on this site is medical advice. GLP-1 medications are prescription drugs with real contraindications and real side effects. The decision to take one belongs to you and a licensed clinician who has taken your history — not to a website, ours included.

We also do not publish invented reviews. You will not find fabricated customer quotes here, or star ratings presented as the results of a reader survey we never ran. Where we have an opinion, we say it is ours and show the rubric it came from.
